My persona

I am a person who truly loves life — all of it. There hasn’t been a single hard time in my life that I didn’t find value in, in some way, shape, or form. It takes a cataclysmic event to shake my conviction that life is a grand adventure —because I genuinely believe it is. The setbacks, the bruises and the defeats are really just segues, when you convert them to insights.

I firmly believe we are here to do good. That doesn’t mean mistakes should be feared — only that we should learn from them and bring that knowledge back into play. Always onwards and up, or “Plus Ultra” as I was taught in the military.

When I’m not diving into the icy waters of Denmark during the dark morning hours of a Scandinavian winter, or spending countless hours in the kitchen learning new things, I treasure camaraderie and wild ambitions at work. I have a lot of energy, and I grow uneasy if I don’t find meaningful ways to channel it.

That’s also why the best days are those where I’ve put in real effort and truly made a difference. That doesn’t have to be at work, it can be helping a friend, a stranger, working on my home, or doing something for my social circle — What matters is contribution.

I make it a point to always arrive at the office smiling, to lend a hand wherever I can, and to engage deeply with the people around me. I forgive a lot — but I expect honesty and transparency in return, and I don’t tolerate deceitful behaviour. I’m not easily demotivated, but egocentricity, lies, and hurtful agendas can get me down. We should all aim to add a little more to a meaningful legacy — every single day.
